Dr. Mike Carlson and Will Koran, past presidents of Medina Sunrise Rotary, along with event co-chair Judy Cross, provided the final pep talk to fellow Rotarians in preparation for this coming Saturday's Medina Sunrise Rotary 20th Annual Wine & Roses Dinner Dance and Auction to benefit Children's Charities. "This is our most important event. This is Rotary's Super Bowl!" proclaimed Carlson.

Our Valentine-themed decorated ballroom of over 320 guests will be met with the Honor Guard from the U.S. Navy Operational Support Center in Akron and the harmonious vocals of the Midnight Blue Band, with Dr. Carlson as the Master of Ceremonies at this year's sophisticated event. Live music, fine dining, dancing, a raffle, exciting live and silent auction items, and a special Give from the Heart Pledge Campaign will bring an enjoyable uplifting evening of fun and fellowship to raise awareness and funding for children's charities which include:

American Legion Buckeye Boys and Girls State
Boy & Girl Scouts of America Leadership Programs
Camp Paradise Society for Handicapped Citizens
Children's Center of Medina County
Cups Cafe Youth Outreach Programs
Empower Sports for Children with Special Needs
Feeding Medina County Weekender School Program
Medina Creative Housing Life Skills Center & Therapy Ranch
Sanyuka Children's Ministries for Orphans in Uganda
Special Olympics Track and Field Day Medina County
