Medina Sunrise Rotary remembered the Veterans who are in long term hospital stays at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center with a donation of this morning's "Happy Dollars" for activities and games, and thanks them for "Service Above Self" to their community, nation and the world in which we live.

Jack Young, U.S. Air Force Veteran and Past District Governor - Rotary 6630 NE Ohio, informed us of the many Veterans who, due to long-term hospitalization, are in need of activities and games to keep occupied and lessen feelings of isolation and loneliness.  Dr. Mike Carlson responded straightaway to Jack's request for help and raised a motion that Medina Sunrise Rotarians give generously to those who gave so much to our country.

Medina Sunrise Rotary Club supports its Veteran, children, scholarship, and community giving programs through its annual Valentine's Day Wine & Roses Benefit Dinner Dance held at Weymouth Country Club in February.
