Janet Newcomer, representing "Rise Against Hunger," shared with Medina Sunrise Rotary how her global non-profit organization has impacted men, women, and children in 36 countries to end hunger and malnutrition for 20 years.

Sadly, 1 out of every 9 persons will still go hungry somewhere today. And you can help.  You are invited to join our growing coalition of nearly 400,000 hunger champions that are committed to ending hunger for everyone, everywhere.  They are charitable foundations, faith-based organizations, service groups, corporations, students, and private individuals like you. The need is great and working together, we have already impacted over 1.4 million lives.

"We thank Rotary for its world-wide community partnerships," stated Janet.  "Rotarians have volunteered to pack over 30 million meals, hosted packaging events, donated needed funding for food and supplies, engaged their workplaces and our youth, responded to natural and man-made crises, and championed the cause of of Rise Against Hunger."  Are you committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of ending World Hunger by 2030?  This is possible.

Join us 7:15 AM on Tuesday mornings for breakfast, interesting programs, community service, and Rotary fellowship.
