Becky Shotwell, Membership Chair of the Medina Sunrise Rotary Club, conducted the induction ceremony for Tim Rupert, Senior District Executive of the Boy Scouts of America, this morning at the Children's Center of Medina County.
Each of Rotary International's 5 Avenues of Service - Club Service, Community Service, Vocational Service, International Service, and Youth Service - were represented in the ceremony to charge Tim to a commitment of "Service Above Self" and welcome him into the fellowship of Rotary.
Following his having received the unique Medina Sunrise Rotary Club lapel pin, Tim was photographed at the large octagonal picnic table which was engineered and constructed for the Children's Center by Boy Scout Troop #5137 as the Eagle Scout project of Justin Michalski.
