Sandy Hinkle, Executive Director of Feeding Medina County, and Ed Zackery, Director of Medina County Veterans Services Offices, welcomed the many hard working volunteers who arrived early at Medina County Fair Community Center to give needed support to Feeding Medina County's Christmas Free Food Distribution.

We extend a warm welcome to Medina's newly arrived US Armed Services Career Counselors -- Sergeant Alexander Boyd, who is with the Ohio Army National Guard, and US Air Force Tech Sergeant Cody Hoffman, who join us here this morning in service to our community and our nation. We thank them for their service, along with: US Military Chaplain Dr. Reid Miller, Medina County Veterans Services & Disabled American Veterans, AMVETS, the Rotary & Kiwanis clubs, Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital, Westfield Companies, DataMark Technologies, CinDees, JFS, Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank, and our FMC Board members -- Dr. Kelly Parker and Nancy Gowe.

Feeding Medina County's Free Food Distributions are hosted by Medina County Fair at the Community Center. Food distributions are held on the THIRD THURSDAY of the month unless otherwise rescheduled. Our generous sponsors and loyal volunteers make it possible for Feeding Medina County to serve nearly one in four children and those 20,000 people who are considered food insecure in our county at Christmas and throughout the year.
