Emily Gladden, a confident and articulate AP English Lit  Senior at Cloverleaf High School, will compete for the $1,200 First Place Prize on April 7th, at the Rotary District 6630 Four-Way Speech Contest, based on the ethical principles of the "Rotary 4-Way Test" - of the Things We Think, Say and Do.

"It's an honor for Cloverleaf High School students to have an opportunity to work with Judge Judith Cross and participate in the Rotary 4-Way Test District Speech Contest sponsored by Medina Sunrise Rotary," stated  English teacher Mrs. Mary Lee Wooley. "Along with Cloverleaf Local Schools Superintendent Daryl Kubilus and Mr. Joel Shurance, I am extremely proud of this year's eight competing students: Emily Gladden (1st), Caiti Hyatt (2nd), Rachel Deryck (3rd), Erica Dahl, Danyel Zwingelberg, Dustyn Nagy, McKenna Jordan, and Sky Gill.  These students are representatives of our outstanding Cloverleaf School System. Their dedication, talent, intelligence and initiative give me every confidence in their future success!"

Judge Judy Cross thanked the 8 Cloverleaf High School contestants, teachers, parents, Rotary judges, and  everyone for attending.  She invited students, Rotarians and friends to support this year's Medina County winners in the upcoming Rotary District 6630 speech contest which will be hosted by Aurora High School at 8:00 AM, on Saturday, April 7.
