Delaney Sheldon from Cloverleaf HS Represents Medina County in NE Ohio Rotary District Speech Contest

Delaney Sheldon, a confident and articulate Cloverleaf High School Senior, captivated the attention and respect of Medina Sunrise Rotary and her Cloverleaf High School classmates this morning with her presentation of an informative speech based on the ethical principles of the "Rotary 4-Way Test" - of the Things We Think, Say and Do.

The Rotary 4-Way Test District Speech Contest encourages local Rotary clubs to select the best high school students available to participate in the competition. Students are required to give a 4-6 minute speech addressing practical applications of the Rotary Four-Way Test as it relates to their personal life experiences.

"As a past president of Medina Sunrise Rotary and current Superintendent of Cloverleaf Local Schools, I am extremely proud of our English teacher Mrs. Mary Lee Wooley and this year's participating students Delaney Sheldon,  Molly Ross, and Emily McDonald," stated Daryl Kubilus.  "They are representatives of our outstanding Cloverleaf School System. Their dedication, talent, intelligence and initiative give me every confidence in their future success!"

Judge Judy Cross thanked guest judge Tina Sabol from Medina County District Library, our Cloverleaf High School contestants, and  everyone for attending.  She invited students, Rotarians and friends to support Delaney in the upcoming speech contest which will be hosted by Aurora High School at 8:00 AM, on Saturday, April 8.
