"At The Children’s Center of Medina County, children and families impacted by abuse, neglect, and exploitation start on the pathway to healing," stated Executive Director Ashley Krause. Medina Sunrise Rotary and Pride One have been our premier Community Partners for over 12 years, helping us grow and making a difference in the lives of children in our community and beyond, each and every day.

Here at the Children's Center -- we are a child advocacy center; we deal with human anti-trafficking; and we are a safe family visitation center. Since 2007, we have made it our mission to  ensure that all children experiencing abuse and neglect receive vital services. Our special CAC model of a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) approach, developed through the vision of Former Congressman Cramer and a group of key individuals, pulled together law enforcement, criminal justice, child protective services, and medical and mental health workers onto one coordinated team.

With the support and generosity of our community and service organizations like Rotary, we have helped more than 12,000 children and families in Medina County. The Children's Center of Medina County will continue to promote awareness and provide children an opportunity to heal from abuse by reducing trauma in a neutral family friendly location.
