with Medina Sunrise Rotary - Breakfast Kiwanis - U.S. Marine Corps - Ohio Army National Guard

Renewing a Christmas tradition, Pastor John McCaw of Medina First Baptist Church, welcomed Medina Sunrise Rotary, Medina Breakfast Kiwanis, and the men and women of the US Marine Corps and Ohio Army National Guard to a Christmas Celebration at Medina Christian Academy.

A holiday buffet breakfast was followed by the talented MCA middle and high school students performing piano instrumentals and choral arrangements that illuminated the beauty of Christmas.  The Marines and Ohio Army National Guard were on hand to present candy canes as a thank you to the student performers.  It was a morning filled with sharing the fellowship of service, a commitment to making a difference in the lives of children, the joy of students singing traditional Christmas music, and visions of times to be spent with loved ones at Christmas.

"Charles Dickens' classic 'A Christmas Carol' reminds us to reflect back on our life and be willing to change for a better future," instructed Pastor McCaw. "The real meaning of the very first Christmas, however, is revealed in the Gospel of Matthew which teaches us that Jesus Christ, our Savior was born and died to save us from sin. It is only by His saving grace that we truly are able to change our life in the image of His will for each of us."

"This Christmas, as you find kindness and generosity in your heart, pause and recognize that you will have found the true meaning of Christmas - You have found Jesus."

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
