The 2018 Community Service Awards were presented to three extraordinary community leaders by Dr. Richard K. Shewbridge, President of Medina Hospital, in appreciation for their contribution in making our community the best place to live:

Keith Johnston - Running2bwell formed to help people with addictions and mental health struggles
Rev. Dr. Charles Reid Miller (Colonel Army & Air Force) - U.S. Military Chaplain, Rotary Leader, teacher, community organizer and volunteer
Roger Smalley - Medina City Council, Community Design Committee, Arts Council, MUNCH, Bicentennial Committee

We are privileged to recognize these remarkable individuals for their unsurpassed commitment to Medina County. With their diverse backgrounds and significant contributions to a range of fields that include political involvement, human services, healthcare, education, world-wide service organizations, the U.S. Military, and community development, our honorees represent the very best and brightest of our community.
