Medina Sunrise Rotary gathered together on Thursday evening for a Naughty & Nice Christmas Social at Hi-Low Winery. Taking time from a very busy holiday season of community service, which includes Shop With a Cop, Build-a-Bear, Feeding Medina County, MCRC Family First Night, the Children's Center of Medina County, Youth Exchange Students, Veterans recognition programs, and Christmas Shopping for Families of Medina City Schools, to join in good fellowship and fun.

An abundance of fresh and grilled appetizers, Christmas music & cookies, a competitive ugly Christmas sweater contest, and a hilarious white elephant gift exchange kept spirits bright for 25 Rotarians, their spouses, and guests on a cold December night.  Everyone was appreciative of the Christmas Social Committee who kept us all in the holiday spirit. Thank you to Becky Shotwell, Rick Rudolph, Dennis Powers, Jay Dettorre, Kathy Warner, and Michele Yama.

Medina Sunrise Rotary community service and contributions include annual scholarships for graduating high school seniors, Rotary Youth Exchange and high school leadership programs, support for the Medina Back-to-School and Christmas Shopping programs, Project LEARN, ShoeBoxes for Children of Nicaragua, Jaguza Children Ministries, Buckeye Boys & Girls State, BSA, Empower Sports, Shop with a Cop, Feeding Medina County, the Mugrage Park Inclusive Playground, The Children's Center, Medina Creative Housing, and numerous MCRC programs, including the new outdoor deck.  Medina Sunrise Rotary Club supports its community giving programs through its annual Wine & Roses Benefit Dinner to be held at Weymouth Country Club on February 10, 2018.
