HABITAT RESTORE
Offering a Hand Up ... not a Hand Out

"Welcome to The Habitat ReStore of Medina," said ReStore Manager Dan Shumaker to the Medina Sunrise Rotary Club. "We are a 28,000 sq. ft. retail building materials sales center, located at 342 East Smith Road (the old Bennet's and James' Lumber), and are open to the public each Saturday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Medina ReStore receives donations of new, and like new, usable materials from generous local businesses and individuals. We offer these items to the public at a fraction of their retail price and donate all our net profits to building homes for Habitat for Humanity."

All 25 of us working at our Medina ReStore are dedicated, non paid, volunteers. Our profits and support from the community make it possible for qualified families to buy safe and affordable housing. Here, at Habitat for Humanity, we are committed to our mission of "Offering a Hand Up ... not a Hand Out."
